One of the world’s most successful activities is considered to be Physical Education and Sports. As a result, the newly established College of Human Kinetics in the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo is now offering the Bachelor of Physical Education because of its demand in the 21st Century education. Students were interested in learning the new skills, techniques and competencies; they performed the sports at the highest level; and they studied the physical education that holds and bonds the interaction of it.
The immediate actions taken by the university officials headed by University President Dr. Sigfredo C. Adajar have led to the collaboration and partnership of the strong and established College of Human Kinetics at the University of Makati. The newly designated Dean Evan Jesusco also helped the Pamantasan to bridge the commitment held last March 21, 2023 at the University of Makati.
The dream of strengthening our very own version of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo, the College of Human Kinetics, is set to begin, with the partnership focusing on sport education, science, seminars, and holistic coaching programs for the benefits of BPEd students, athletes, PE lecturers, and the Center for Sports and Athletic Development.
In addition, Dean Michael Tolentino of CHK-UMAK pledged his commitment to having a more active engagement between the two established universities. Also, Dr. Alex Torres of CHK-UMAK embraced the togetherness, especially in providing his mastery in Sports Research and Sports Science. The said collaboration was also attended by the PE lecturers of PLSP, Prof. Pol Escolano, and Prof. Lowell Ople.
The College of Human Kinetics at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo is ready to cater to the aspirant PE teachers and student-athletes of the City Government of San Pablo.
