Through the Office of Vice President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI) in partnership with the Center for Community Engagement and Development and Gender Equality and Development Office paved it’s way for a one-day seminar workshop at PLSP University Library and Research Center, February 20.

Attended by around 100 participants which were composed of university officials, faculty members, non-teaching personnel, and students, witnessed the research driven activity themed “Driving Change in One Research and Extension”.

Dr. Joseph Angelou Ilagan Ng, who served as the guest speaker highlighted the basics in making an action research that is beneficial through its extension. He gave tips on how to make it feasible in just a span of time.

Moreover, 10 presentations were done coming from various colleges and offices which underscored their own action research aligned to their area or discipline.

“We are growing…” emphasized by Prof. Kristin Anne Corcega, VP for Research and Innovation, as OVPRI continuously break the norm and seek progress for the institution.
