DLSP-GS: Another Significant Achievement for the Dalubhasaan ng Lunsod ng San Pablo!
Despite the pandemic that has completely altered the global education landscape, DLSP remains committed to its mission of providing a high-quality advanced program to a larger population of professionals not only in the City of San Pablo but also in adjoining cities and municipalities. Another significant academic milestone of DLSP is ingrained in history, initiated by Hon. Loreto S. Amante. A graduate school has now opened its doors with the mission of developing competent, innovative, creative, and productive professionals in education, business, and industry, as well as promoting a healthy community of professionals imbued with positive values as forerunners of national development. Its opening has been approved for operation under Board Resolution No. 41, s. 2019, with the vision of becoming the premier graduate school as a strong catalyst for research, education, and leadership. It began by offering three pilot graduate programs: Master of Arts in Education (with majors in Educational Management, English Language Education, Science and Technology, Mathematics Education, Filipino Education, and Social Studies Education), Master in Business Administration, and Master in Public Administration.
The operation of the Graduate School was in accordance with CHEd Memorandum Order No. 53, series 2007, and No. 15, series 2019. The curricula for the program were approved under Board Resolution No. 41, s. 2019 and have been developed in accordance with the Commission’s standards. Similarly, the DLSP GS provides a thesis track program with a research-intensive academic track curriculum that is in accordance with CHED’s research agenda. The DLSP-GS started its classes on September 11, 2021, guided by the policies, rules, and regulations outlined in Board Resolution No. 6, Series 2021.
The administration oversees the DLSP-GS, which is led by the Concurrent College Administrator Prof. Arthur B. Almario, the Vice President for Academic Affairs – Dr. Flerida A. Layba, the Vice President for Administration, Planning, and Finance – Dr. Sigfredo C. Adajar, and the Vice President for Research and Extension – Dr. Julieta P.
