PLSP Joins the 2023 National Women’s Month Kick-off; Names 25 Finalists for “Natatanging Juana”

Led by the PLSP-Gender Equality and Development Office headed by its OIC Director, Mr. Kurt Cyrus John Cabral, in collaboration with the DLSP Multipurpose Cooperative, started its month-long celebration of Women this year with the theme “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society” at the Second Floor of the University Library and Research Center, March 3.

“We should embrace the reality that the inclusivity of gender are [is] not only feminine and masculine, also the LGBTQIA+ Community,” emphasized by Hon. Angelita “Angie” Yang, Chair of Sangguniang Panlungsod Committe on Women.

Dr. Daisy Z. Miranda, CESO IV, School Division Superintendent of San Pablo, graced this activity as she shared insightful experiences on how can an empowered woman lead just like how she is managing DepEd San Pablo now.

On the other hand, the office also announced the 25 finalists for PLSP’s “Natatanging Juana” among the teaching and non-teaching personnel which will have its culminating activity later this month.
