To accommodate the increase in student population in the Institution, and put together common resources and faculty, the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) was founded in 2005. The CTHM offered the Associate in Hotel and Restaurant Management program in its opening, initially offered by the College of Business and Hospitality Management (CBHM). After the success of the associate program, the Institution officially offer the Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM) program in 2007.

The BSHRM Program was officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) last 2012 as one of the programs in Dalubhasaan ng Lunsod ng San Pablo (DLSP). Due to the changes in the Program’s Curriculum and the CHED Memorandum Order No. 63, series of 2017, the BSHRM was renamed and changed into Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM). Now, as the Institution transitions from DLSP to Pamatasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo (PLSP), the University will start to offer the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) Program in the Academic Year 2022-2023.

Since its founding in 2005, the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management has evolved into a competent and competitive teaching and learning facility where future professionals in the tourism, travel, and hotel and restaurant management sectors are taught in a variety of learning methodologies by seasoned teachers and industry practitioners. The tourism and hospitality industry is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. Its scope encompasses airplanes, cruise ships, travel agents, resorts, eating, gambling, and recreation enterprises, as well as local, national, and worldwide tourism initiatives.

Currently, the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) earned its Certificates of Program Compliance (COPC) issued by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) last August 12, 2022, for the program of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM), and last June 14, 2022, for the program of Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM).
