MISSION

To ensure an inclusive health for all, the PLSP-CNAHS strives to impart high-impact and world-class education in allied medical programs by providing an integrative, population-based, multi-disciplinary, responsive and research-based curriculum.

GOALS

  • To produce competent, self-sufficient, service-oriented health professionals ingrained with high morals, love of country and God-fearing equipped with scientific knowledge, skills, wholesome attitude and analytic thinking
  • To preserve and promote quality of life of communities as primary care givers and health educators
  • To acquire knowledge, skills and attitude in leadership management and research in allied health programs

OBJECTIVES

  • Provide the students with an education for allied health sciences that allow them to be physically, socio-culturally, and emotionally aware of themselves, and practice caution in handling clients thru application of the laws governing allied health practices and compliance to the Code of Ethics appertaining to
  • Design and develop programs that are responsive to health challenges of communities, including disaster risk reduction and management, occupational health, emerging and re-emerging communicable diseases and non-communicable diseases
  • Inculcate to students and faculty the value of self-directed learning, research-driven and evidence-based practice
  • Promote better understanding of the roles of prevention, promotion, curative and rehabilitation sciences in the community
  • Provide opportunity for continuous personal and professional development
